1. The sage asked the spirit of wisdom (2) thus: Which is that pleasure which is worse than unhappiness?’
3. The spirit of wisdom answered (4) thus: ‘Whoever has acquired wealth by crime, and he becomes glad of it thereby [1], then that pleasure is worse for him than unhappiness.’
