Carolyn Kendall has been a reader since 1951, and was a member of the Forum, along with her parents, brother and husband, Tom; and along with her parents, brother, and late husband, was a founding member of the First Urantia Society of Chicago. She and her husband Tom served in leadership roles in the Urantia Brotherhood/Fellowship and Urantia Foundation, and she is the mother of five and grandmother of seven. Carolyn has lived in the same house on the street, “Salvington Place,” for forty-five years. She is currently the president of the First Society of Chicago and a member of the Fellowship Publications Committee.
Carolyn Kendall has retired from a varied career in educational and professional offices. Still active in the First Urantia Society (Chicago), she has served the Urantia community as a member of four different committees, a member and vice-president of the General Council, and as an associate trustee of Urantia Foundation (2002– 05). She and her late husband, Tom Kendall, have five children and seven grandchildren.
