Ezekiel, the Jewish prophet, was wiser than his contemporaries as he combined personal moral responsibility with a faithful observance of a higher ritual. [1] Ezekiel proclaimed deliverance through consecrated service. [2] He spoke of a new spirit that would dwell in the soul of man. [3] He was one of the few spiritual leaders who were not silenced.
