On Friday afternoon, June 10, Jesus and his associates arrived in Sidon, home of Karuska and Norana, where they rested for almost two and a half weeks before continuing their journey. [1]
Jesus’ teaching in Sidon emphasized spiritual progression and the importance of embracing the greater realities of the kingdom, urging his disciples to go forward in righteousness and strive for divine sonship in the fellowship of believers. [2]
If the mighty works done in Chorazin, Bethsaida-Julias, and Capernaum had been done in Tyre and Sidon, the people of these heathen cities would have repented in sackcloth and ashes long ago. [3]
