Advancement grows out of the divine capacity for action. [4] Action achieves strength. [5] Acts of today are destiny of tomorrow. [6] Eternal realities are result of righteous striving. [7] Proper conduct is essential to progress by way of knowledge. [8] The weak indulge in resolutions, but the strong act. [9]
The dead theory of even the highest religious doctrines is powerless to transform human character or to control mortal behavior. [10] There is no real religion apart from a highly active personality. [11] Jesus preached about evils of inaction to a young downcasted. [12] For the prayer to be effective we need to exhaust capacity for human adjustment. [13] Jesus taught his disciples to be always active and positive. [14] Man does not ascend effortlessly in universe. [15] An act was necessary for Josiah’s healing. [16]
Prayer must never be so prostituted as to become a substitute for action. [17] The way to validate prayers is by possessing cosmic stamina, to face courageously the problems. [18] Zoroaster’s religion one of action. [19]
The act is ours; the consequences God’s. [20] Belief rather than knowledge determines conduct. [21] Believer always acts, never coerces. [22] God repeats his acts because his way is the best way to do that particular thing; and the best way is the right way. [23] We need to do good deeds in secret. [24] All nonreligious human activities seek to bend the universe to the distorting service of self. [25]
It is repugnant to the divine nature to suffer any sort of deterioration or ever to permit the execution of any purely personal act in an inferior way. [26] We need to weigh consequences of acts. [27]
